Job Title: School Manager – Norbury School

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Manager to join our team at Norbury School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of the school's operations, finances, and personnel.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of financial, personnel, and premises management, with experience of working in a busy school environment. You will be responsible for leading a team, training others in required skills, and working closely with the current School Manager until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and management of the school's operations, finances, and personnel.
  • Lead a team and train others in required skills.
  • Work closely with the current School Manager until the end of the academic year.
  • Manage the school's budget and contracts for the new financial year.
  • Ensure the school's Safeguarding Policy and procedures are implemented and maintained.
Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with a proven ability of financial, personnel, and premises management. You will need to have a school business management qualification, such as an ILM Diploma Level 4 or Level 5, or a willingness to undertake training for this qualification.

You will also need to have extensive experience in all areas of Microsoft Office, working knowledge of Arbor, and experience of working in a busy school environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to lead a team, and the ability to train others in required skills are also essential.
