Transforming Clinical Research with Excellence

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Data Management Specialist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary research team at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trial data and databases on a day-to-day basis, ensuring high-quality capture of complex clinical data from medical records and research documentation. With excellent communication skills and attention to detail, you will work closely with research managers and clinical staff to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to focus on the data management requirements for the SIOP Renal Tumours Study Group prospective clinical study, ideal for an experienced Data Manager with a background in clinical research.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality data in line with contractual obligations
  • Communicate effectively with teams within the NIHR Clinical Research Facility and external agencies
  • Liaise with research teams and Chief Investigators to ensure accurate and contemporaneous data management processes

About the Role:

  • Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
  • Employer: Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust

Requirements:

  • Qualified to 'A' Level/NVQ Level 3 standard or equivalent
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (science, health, health management, social science) desirable
  • Experience of working on multiple parallel tasks to strict deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills, including database management and statistical methods
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
