We are seeking a highly skilled Systemic Therapist to join our team in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council. As a key member of our Youth Justice Service, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional social work for families across our borough.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapy to young people and their families in their homes and community settings
- Develop and implement our systemic practice model, working on complex cases and supporting staff
- Consult with team colleagues, other professionals, and foster carers on systemic therapy approaches
- Contribute to the development of a service for complex adolescents, working closely with our Youth Justice Service and Prevent teams
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience delivering systemic therapy with a wide range of young people and families
- Experience working with vulnerable groups in diverse ethnic communities
- A good understanding of child development and relevant interventions, approaches, theories, and legislation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a can-do, creative attitude
