Delivery Postie with Driving

At Royal Mail Group, we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. This role involves delivering mail and packages to customers across various locations, requiring a strong sense of community and pride in work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work independently, managing time effectively to meet deadlines and targets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Physical fitness to walk for long periods and work in various weather conditions
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

  • Competitive monthly salary equivalent to an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
