About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Industrial Control Systems Specialist to join our team at EC&I Partners. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing control aspects of machinery to meet project specifications and deadlines.



Responsibilities




  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical control instrumentation, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems
  • Confer with engineers, customers, and other stakeholders to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
  • Direct and coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
  • Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of control theory to engineering projects
  • Supervise and train project team members as necessary
  • Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed to a satisfactory technical standard
  • Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications of control systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements
  • Investigate customer complaints, determine the nature and extent of the problem, and recommend remedial measures
  • Compile data and write reports relating to technical equipment testing, supplier non-conformances, and equipment malfunctions
  • Familiarity with GAMP5 and V-Model


Requirements




  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
