Job Overview

Stirling Council is seeking a motivated Roads and Highways Supervisor to join our team of civil engineers, responsible for maintaining and renewing roads, footways, and undertaking general civil engineering works.

This role offers opportunities for training and development, with a focus on ensuring the health and safety of squads/contractors under supervision and members of the public.

As a Roads and Highways Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Directing and overseeing operatives/contractors on site.
  • Adhering to works programme as instructed by supervisors and other officers.
  • Participating in summer and winter standby duties.
  • Carrying out works to specification on site.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
