Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Marketing Executive to join our team, based at our Support Centre in Hemel Hempstead with the option to work from home one day per week, and occasional travel to our centres required.

The successful candidate will support the Brand & Campaigns Manager in the implementation of the national marketing plan and retail calendar, supporting campaigns, key trading dates and local centre initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing seasonal campaigns end to end, preparing detailed plans and briefs across media, creative, PR, print and digital working closely with inhouse teams and external agencies.
  • Measuring results and analysing effectiveness of activity.
  • Supporting on the execution of the social media content calendar, measurement and reporting.
  • Supporting the launch of new initiatives either nationally or to local markets, e.g. new centre openings, rebrands and refurbishments.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness and measuring and reporting on marketing activities including brand tracking surveys and analysis.
  • Demonstrating sound commercial awareness throughout marketing activities.
  • Supporting centre teams and regional teams with tactical marketing initiatives for attraction/engagement/retention of customers, administering requests from centres using marketing support systems and using marketing expertise.
  • Supporting the Brand & Campaigns Manager to manage relationships with key suppliers to KPI's, including creative agencies, print management, PR, Media, merchandise, graphic designers, AV and experiential.
  • Supporting with content creation and systems management.
  • Providing brand guidance support for the wider marketing team and business.
  • Identifying and championing opportunities to enhance customer experience across the full customer journey.
  • Ensuring timely, relevant and accurate content is maintained across channels for all customer groups, e.g. intranet, POS, eComms, in-centre screens and music.
  • Ensuring prices are recorded accurately and timely and are communicated effectively.
  • Keeping accurate records of costs, invoices and ROI across all marketing activities.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • A strong understanding and development of current marketing concepts and tactics.
  • Multiple years previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, commercially focused business.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, including excellent proficiency of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Experience in a varied marketing role covering creative, media, PR and social media. Print experience an advantage.
  • Experience using content management systems.
  • Excellent communication and team player skills.
  • Self-confidence, positive energy and enthusiasm.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Project management skills - ability to juggle several different projects at once and prioritise.
  • Creative flair and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work and influence several different stakeholders.
  • A full driving license and access to own vehicle.
