About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our extensive network of sites in Northern Ireland.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Carrying out thorough cleaning and sanitizing tasks at various locations, including offices, warehouses, and other commercial premises.
  • Operating a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Ensuring all areas are clean and tidy, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
  • Managing and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning schedules and deadlines.

We require someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Key Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
