The estimated salary for this Consultant in Care of the Elderly position is around £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant in Care of the Elderly to join our successful department. The successful appointee will be responsible for providing high-quality care to complex, frail elderly patients on our Older Persons Admissions Unit (OPAU) and one of the core care of the elderly wards.

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gerontology and experience in supporting specialist interests. They will also be able to contribute to the development of new services in areas such as stroke, frailty, orthogeriatrics, and Parkinson's.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have GMC Registration and relevant medical qualifications. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team.
