Welder Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team as a Instructor, where you will work with apprentices to pass their apprenticeship and gain a BTEC qualification.

• Days based, Monday to Friday role working 36.5 hours per week
• Full training provided in teaching and further industry qualifications
• Working with apprentices to pass their apprenticeship and gain a BTEC qualification
• Training/instructing welding principles

• Have experience as a Welder
• Want to move into a teaching role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to move off the tools into a days based role where you will work with the next generation of Welders and Fabricators to help, guide and mentor them through their apprenticeships.

As a Welder Instructor, you will be fully trained in teaching and become a go-to recognised training specialist, with the opportunity to progress your career.

This company is recognised as experts in engineering training, with 50 employees and coming up to 5 decades in business, they are known as the go-to trainers in the South West.

The role will suit a Welder looking to move off the tools into a days based role where you will work with the next generation of Welders and Fabricators to help, guide and mentor them through their apprenticeships.

The salary for this role is £33,500 rising to £36,500 after training and further raises with further qualifications.
