**Job Summary**
Adapt Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of process and support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Company HSE policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment, adhering to schedules and protocols.
- Respond promptly to process breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient production.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Accurately complete documentation and update SAP data in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards.
Requirements:
- Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Minimum ONC/HNC in Engineering (preferably both mechanical and electrical).
- Knowledge of IEE 18th Edition regulations (for electrically biased roles).
- COMPEX qualification (desirable).
- Familiarity with PLCs, Controls, Motor Drives, AC and DC motors, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical and Mechanical Properties.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of £57,500 per annum.
- 4 on - 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights) with working hours from 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am.
- 16 weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave.
