
Conservation Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Site Manager to join our team on a prestigious two-year restoration project in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in historic building conservation and make your mark in the construction industry.
The successful candidate will be based in Oxford, possess a clean driving license, and have a relevant undergraduate degree or vocational experience. As part of our team, you will receive comprehensive training, work alongside an experienced conservation team, and enjoy excellent career progression opportunities.
- Perform regular scaffold inspections to ensure quality control across the site.
- Assist in valuing works, managing delays, and liaising with accounts to maintain timesheet accuracy.
- Oversee Health & Safety management, including conducting toolbox talks, site inductions, and ensuring compliance with CSCS and PPE standards.
- Maintain accurate site registers, including PAT testing, PUWER, and LOLER requirements.
- Supervise subcontractors and oversee cleaning and conservation teams.
- Liaise daily with clients, stakeholders, and design teams to guarantee seamless project execution.
- Conduct environmental management in accordance with company policies.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience:
