Small Animal Medicine Specialist

Bishopton Vets is a progressive veterinary practice that has been serving the local community for over 80 years.

We are seeking an experienced veterinary medicine specialist to lead our busy internal and expanding external medical referral services. We encourage advanced practitioners, certificate holders, or those working towards a medical or imaging certificate to apply.4-day working week with weekend day shifts on a shared rota (1:6).Full-time or part-time applications are welcome.Our team consists of 16 FTE vets, bringing a wealth of experience, including Advanced Practitioners in medicine, surgery, and general practice. The practice is well-equipped, with a recently upgraded ultrasound scanner, video endoscopy, and (fortnightly) access to a visiting CT service. Our team of skilled RVNs and dedicated support staff share our commitment to providing the highest standards of veterinary care to our patients.We provide our own out-of-hours service through a dedicated night team, and so case continuity is a key focus and important to us. We also work in collaboration with three local external veterinary practices providing their out-of-hours provision.As a practice, we strive to combine the provision of exceptional, personalised care with progressive current best practice in veterinary medicine.
