Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Special Needs Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with autism and other special educational needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual learning needs of students with SEN.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with a variety of special needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure progress.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students in line with their specific needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with secondary-age students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • A passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them reach their potential.
  • An understanding of the latest SEN educational strategies and best practices.
