Clinical Trials Vendor Partnership Manager

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Vendor Partnership Manager to join our team at Lifelancer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing clinical trial vendor partnerships and leading a team of outsourcing managers within a specific therapeutic area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Relationship Management: Lead a team of outsourcing associate directors and managers, overseeing a portfolio of external alliances with contract service providers across various vendor categories.
- Contract Negotiation and Oversight: Determine and execute relationship management strategies, approving and monitoring contracts and work/research plans within your therapy-aligned pillar.
- Timely Service Provision: Ensure timely and high-quality provision of external services to all clinical trials, overseeing vendor commitments and timelines across the portfolio.
- Process Improvement: Embed industry-leading processes and principles that define how Lifelancer interacts with and manages its vendor partnerships, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and business practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate within our matrix structure to establish efficient and effective contracting processes, setting goals and objectives for the OM function aligned with business objectives.
- Resource Planning and Management: Responsible for resource planning and management to ensure adequate resources are available to manage the book of work and proactive resource planning to ensure future resourcing is in line with forecasted business needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant industry experience (pharma, biotech, CRO) required; scientific, financial, and business problem-solving experience desired.
- Prior experience with alliance management, account management, outsourcing management, business operations, or business development within the pharma/biotech/CRO industry required.
- Demonstrated influential leadership and communication capabilities with a proven ability to engage, manage, develop, and inspire a team.
- Direct experience working directly with Contract Service Providers (CSPs) across vendor categories, as well as broad exposure to clinical trial operations in general.
We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
