About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful clinic in South London. As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, lead a team of veterinary surgeons, and contribute to the growth and development of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and promoting a progressive clinical culture
  • Lead a team of veterinary surgeons, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and team performance
  • Contribute to the financial and operational performance of the practice, working closely with the practice management team
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other clinical leaders to develop and implement clinical strategies and initiatives
Requirements
  • Previous clinical leadership experience, preferably in a veterinary practice
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to perform routine surgeries and consults
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other clinical leaders and practice management team members
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a salary of up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including:

£1500 CPD allowance with 3-days CPD leaveRCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends
