Role Summary

The Pensions Project Analyst plays a critical role in delivering bulk events throughout EQRS, ensuring EQRS and client objectives are achieved. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of how to ensure delivery within the constraints of required timescales and costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bulk event tasks in line with business objectives and critical success factors, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery meets requirements.
  • Provide recommendations and manage implementation of agreed solutions.
  • Identify and implement service and system improvements and efficiencies.
  • Provide support and coordination, leading others where necessary.
  • Collate and analyse data required to process bulk events within pre-agreed timescales.
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained to a suitable standard.
  • Assess and pull together documentation for complex technical pension and calculation tasks required as part of deliverables.
  • Collate third-party documentation required to complete deliverables.
Requirements
  • Strong pensions knowledge covering Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution, with understanding of pensions technical legislation, pension calculations, and scheme rules.
  • Experience of working in a project team or on projects within a pensions administration team, with ability to work as a hybrid across business and IT.
  • Ability to assess and understand business requirements, issues, and drivers that impact delivery.
  • Computer literate with a willingness to learn a variety of systems, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Problem-solving skills to accurately diagnose issues and work through potential solutions to ensure successful resolution, with strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Flexible approach and ability to respond quickly and decisively in a changing and challenging environment, with ability to work to tight timelines and prioritise effectively to meet shifting deadlines without compromising quality of output.
  • Team player with a positive can-do approach to each task, demonstrating personal commitment in all interactions to ensure success of personal and team objectives.
  • Ability to work autonomously within defined needs of the project or change activity.
  • Ability to develop positive and productive working relationships with a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
