Salary: £38,480 - £42,640 per year
Job Description:
As a Haematological and Solid Tumour Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in their own homes. You will administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient's care plan while sustaining professional standards.
You will be an ambassador for delivering patient-focused care, offering quality nursing that is tailored to the patients' needs. All clinical data will be documented, and adverse drug events reported via the correct protocol.
You will build long-lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery. Up-to-date knowledge is maintained and demonstrated, ensuring any gaps in clinical competency are addressed, while staying compliant with all business policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered General Nurse
- Qualified in administering Cytotoxic drugs
- Cannulate and have experience undertaking clinical assessments
