SEN Outreach Professional Job Description

Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a SEN Outreach Professional in a lively and supportive SEN school in Preston. This role involves providing SEN support with students and the community. The school caters to young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health issues.

Responsibilities:
1. Take attendance in the mornings and liaise with parents over absences.
2. Provide support work in the community, working with social services and other parties to best support the young people.

Requirements:
1. Confident in behaviour management techniques and deescalation strategies to manage the young people's behavior.
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
3. Provide two professional child-related references.
4. Have a full, clean UK Driver's License and access to your own car.
