Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at Curro Holdings Ltd.

About the Role:

  • Plan, control, record, and report on assessments for students
  • Attend meetings, forums, and workshops as required for grades/phase
  • Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom
  • Take responsibility for school equipment and stock of class
  • Work closely with teachers in grades/phase to ensure effective running of grades/phase
  • Manage, plan, assist, and promote teaching and learning within class
  • Manage, plan, assist, and promote activities, sports, and culture within the school
  • Manage, plan, assist, and promote discipline within grades/phase
  • Assist with sports and other administrative duties as needed
  • Personal commitment to education and willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognized institution
  • Relevant experience in teaching Maths
  • Current SACE registration
  • Clear criminal record

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately R 250,000 per annum. The company also offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement fund contributions, and paid annual leave.
