About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at Carbon60, a leading bespoke micromachining engineering business. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and monitoring company quality procedures, liaising with customers and suppliers on all quality matters, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with all areas of the business in regard to all quality processes, including design, electrical, and mechanical divisions.
  • Manage Quality Management Systems (QMS) and lead quality audits.
  • Monitor and complete all quality documentation.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits.
  • Report to the Head of Quality.
  • Attend company meetings to provide input from a quality perspective.

Requirements:

  • Experience working to ISO 14001.
  • Experience of ISO 13485 quality standards is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing-based role, ideally with knowledge of the production of smaller components and products.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload.
  • Educated with relevant qualifications in engineering or quality.

Working Arrangements:

This is a site-based role working 4 days onsite and one day a week from home. All applicants will be required to hold current right to work in the UK.
