Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled CAE Process Automation Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will have the opportunity to work on world-class product development projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automated virtual CAE techniques for battery, fuel cell, electric drive unit, and IC engine durability.
  • Design and develop tools and techniques to enhance speed, capability, improve quality, and robustness of virtual models.
  • Develop coding to automate new and existing CAE processes, reducing time and improving quality.
  • Determine automation and optimization requirements, metrics, and targets.
  • Support the prevention of reoccurrence processes, identify CAE failures, and undertake annual projects to resolve.
  • Support agile ceremonies, such as start-up, backlog refinement, retrospective, and sprint planning.
  • Support software vendors, universities, and engineering service providers as needed.
  • Support outsourced methods projects as required.
  • Support the training of CAE members and familiarization with CAE automation processes.
  • Support the design, development workstreams within the scope of engineering development projects.
  • Conduct analysis/simulations and development with utmost quality within an agile framework.
  • Support prototype design freeze activities for customer applications, support customer production/prototype sites, and liaise with their engineering team.
  • Develop and deliver new process training material.
  • Undertake virtual verification of PT units as required.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of process automation and optimization, including pre-processing and post-processing automation.
  • Previous experience of delivering engineering or analytical projects.
  • Competent in the use of software and associated pre and post-processing packages: VBA, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, JAVA.
  • Experience using similar software packages will be considered.
  • Previous experience in CAE software, battery/electric drive units, and internal combustion component/system-level development using CAE to meet defined performance targets.
  • Experience in continuous improvements to business processes to support customer service and financial objectives.
  • Experience working in AGILE.
