Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Power Conversion Expert to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our technical support group, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and troubleshooting services to customers and field service engineers.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and industrial control systems, with experience working with variable frequency drives and programming PLCs and HMIs. You will also possess excellent analytical skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide technical expertise to support Industrial Rotating Stabiliser (RS) Systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the reliability of RS systems and reduce downtime.
  • Support customers and field service engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to identify solutions.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience working with industrial control systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Good understanding of variable frequency drives and experience analyzing diagnostic files.
  • Experience of programming PLCs and HMIs for controlling rotating machines.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
