Job Opportunity

Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar is seeking to appoint three cleaners to work on a part-time basis, term time only, to carry out general cleaning duties in designated areas of Sgoil Lionacleit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general cleaning duties, including the maintenance of floors, cleaning and dusting of furniture and fittings.
  • Clean and disinfect toilets and changing rooms.
  • Empty bins and perform other cleaning tasks as required.
  • Use powered equipment where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar post.
  • Understanding of the cleaning requirements of commercial premises.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety issues in relation to the handling and storage of materials and equipment.
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this post is £9,976 - £9,991 per annum, inclusive of a Distant Islands Allowance.
