We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physics Teacher to join our team as Head of Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team of educators and contribute to the development of our students' scientific knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Physics to students at KS4 and KS5 levels
- Lead the Physics and Science department, providing guidance and support to colleagues
- Develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
- Monitor student progress and attainment, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong academic record, including a degree in Physics or a related subject
- Experience of teaching Physics at KS4 and KS5 levels
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
