Care Assistant Job Summary

About the Role

As a Bank Care Assistant, you will work varied hours to cover shifts as and when needed, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support. You will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support, promoting the independence and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Follow care plans and ensure that each resident receives one-to-one attention
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver high-quality care and support

Requirements

  • Experience in caring for older people, with a can-do approach and excellent communication skills
  • Empathy and compassion to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
