CAD Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our team at Expleo Engineering UK Limited. As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and modeling metal and interior/exterior trim components using NX software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and model metal and interior/exterior trim components using NX software
  • Prepare engineering release packs
  • Take CAD designs from concept to finished model and produce finished drawings for engineering release
  • Support during pre-production builds and launch phase
  • Assist in cost-down activities on current production vehicles

Requirements:

  • Experienced NX user, including complex surfacing
  • Experience using Teamcenter
  • Knowledge of metal and/or interior/exterior trim components
  • A working knowledge of component manufacturing and tooling requirements
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
