About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agile Project Manager to join our team in London, developing cloud-based software solutions for clinical trials. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing internal software development projects in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver presentation materials to various audiences, communicating effectively in a mature manner.
  • Full accountability for release planning, including developing project plans, managing timelines, scope, milestones, resources, and budget.
  • Manage project discovery and implementation phases up to successful general availability.
  • Ensure the Product Team meets schedule, scope, resource/cost, and quality targets using the Agile/Scrum SDLC.
  • Responsible for Risk Management, anticipating and managing risks, publishing a product team risk register, and offering mitigation plans.
  • Identify, track, and manage project dependencies to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Perform Scrum Master functions, including scheduling and leading release planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and daily scrum activities.
  • Perform metrics-driven release tracking, team performance, and product quality reporting.
  • Lead product teams in adopting Agile methodologies via training and coaching, staying current with industry trends and integrating best practices into project management processes.
  • Mentor other Project Managers in adopting best Agile practices.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of project experience managing technology intense application projects.
  • Background in applying rigorous project management practices.
  • A history of delivering commercial software products, on-budget with the agreed-upon scope.
  • PMI certification (for example, PMP or PMI ACP, or PRINCE 2).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum SDLC required.
  • Experience managing release planning up to release deployment.
