Sales Assistant Job Summary

Card Factory is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team on a seasonal basis. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and contributing to a positive store environment.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your sales and customer service skills in a busy retail environment. You'll be responsible for assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, card payments, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, recommending products and services to customers based on their needs.


Requirements:
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Show a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences.


Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £9-£11 per hour, plus additional benefits such as staff discounts and opportunities for career development.
