Job Description:

Alecto Recruitment seeks a skilled Fixed Gas Detection Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Fixed Gas Detection Systems, providing technical support to engineers and clients, resolving technical issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to engineers and clients, resolving technical issues on Fixed Gas Detection Systems.
  • Workshop duties including building, testing, and calibration of new systems.
  • Service and repair of Fixed Gas Detection systems sent to the workshop.
  • Training and producing support material for other members of the sales team service team.

About You:

  • To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Workshop Technician or a Field Service Engineer looking to move into a largely workshop-based role.
  • Preferably, you will have good knowledge of Fixed Gas detection or instrumentation equipment, although experienced service engineers from other industries will also be considered.
  • Full training will be provided on site and in-house as necessary, but experience as a workshop technician or service engineer is essential.

Package:

  • Salary: £38,000 per annum.
  • Overtime (OTE): Circa £41k.
  • Holidays: 20 days rising to 25 days (1 additional per year).
  • Pension: Workplace Pension.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 16:30pm.
