About the Opportunity

At EDF Energy, we're committed to helping Britain achieve Net Zero. We're seeking a talented individual to join our Electrical Engineering Industrial Placement programme, working on the largest construction project in Europe, Hinkley Point C.

As an Electrical Engineering Industrial Placement, you'll have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience, working alongside highly skilled and experienced colleagues. You'll be based at the Hinkley Point C construction site, where you'll contribute to real-world challenges that directly impact the energy industry.

What You'll Do

  • Support improvements to safety through communications campaigns, training, and other improvement projects.
  • Assist in running, maintaining, and developing the condition monitoring programme throughout the plant.
  • Develop the skills necessary to support a wide range of teams in order to provide advice on radiation protection.

What You'll Need

We're looking for candidates who are on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Control & Instrumentation. You'll need strong technical and analytical skills, a genuine desire to learn and develop new capabilities, and a questioning attitude, good teamwork, and effective communication skills.
