The Emerald Group is seeking an experienced Actuarial Leadership Specialist to lead actuarial, statistical, and financial insight and analysis for senior management. This role involves overseeing analysis and insight produced by other actuaries, leading small to medium-sized teams, and providing accurate modelling, financial analysis, advice, and support to various business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for making considered and commercially astute recommendations.">
  • Lead risk analysis activity within the discipline, operating cross-functionally across the business on BAU and project activities.">
  • Consider developmental opportunities, making recommendations to improve operational efficiency and competitive advantage.">
  • Initiate and oversee regular reports and annual/longer-term plans undertaken by other actuaries, reviewing and improving department processes and procedures.">
  • Fellow of Institute of Actuaries (or equivalent) required.">

About The Role:

This is a challenging opportunity to lead high-profile projects, utilising experience in project management techniques to deliver complex projects on-time, in-full. Experience in reinsurance reporting, quota share, and longevity swaps on annuity products is also desirable.

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and private healthcare.
