Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage a new Gilt Trading desk, focusing on UK Government Bonds and inflation-linked gilts.
  • Develop and execute robust market-making strategies in the gilt market, including flexibility to trade inflation-linked and other fixed-income products.
  • Collaborate closely with our existing IRS and money markets Trading team to drive performance and growth.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Gilt government bond trading, preferably with a background in market making.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK Government Bonds, inflation-linked products, IRS, and money markets.
  • Proven leadership skills in setting up a trading desk, with strategic insight and adaptability to evolving market conditions.

We estimate the salary range for this role to be between £100,000 and £150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
