Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £28,168 - £39,244 per annum, pro rata (Academic Grade 4 - 13), dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience.

Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to students studying Agriculture at various levels.

As a Lecturer in Agriculture, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in Agriculture and related subjects
  • Developing and updating curriculum content to ensure it reflects current industry standards and practices
  • Mentoring and supporting students, helping them to achieve their academic and career aspirations
  • Engaging with industry professionals and organisations to enhance the learning experience and provide students with networking opportunities
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree or level 3 vocational qualification in Agriculture or a closely related field
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
