About the Role

Tecrec (Engineering Recruitment Specialists) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineering Manager to lead a team of mobile engineers across London and Southeast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve engineer job sheets to ensure accuracy and attention to detail
  • Implement and maintain best practices and industry standards, including SFG 20
  • Manage follow-on works and engage contractors to provide quotes
  • Ensure quotes are competitively priced and negotiate where necessary
  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Work closely with the PPM Coordinator and Reactive Coordinator to prioritize jobs and meet contract SLAs
  • Conduct regular team meetings with engineers to discuss progress and address any concerns
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified individual with a background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Air Conditioning engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
