Catering Assistant and Barista

We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant and Barista to join our team at Colchester City Council. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold food and beverages to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in our catering outlets and equipment.
- Manage waste and recycling effectively.
- Receive and organize deliveries efficiently.
- Refill vending machines and ensure items are available for purchase when outlets are closed.
- Follow catering and Colchester City Council procedures and maintain up-to-date training.
- Comply with the Council's Safeguarding policies concerning children and vulnerable adults.
Working Hours and Conditions:
Our full-time positions work 37 hours per week, with a mix of full-time and part-time vacancies available. Early morning, weekend, and evening working will be required.
