Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.
- Accounting Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain the financial health of the organisation.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
- Budget and Forecasts: Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage organisational cash flow and forecasting.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with the law and the organisation's policies.
- Audit: Engage with auditors for annual audit process.
- Strategic Goals: Contribute to the development of the organisation's strategic goals.
Requirements:
- Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- Professional Certification: Professional certification in CIMA or ACCA.
- Experience: Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in not-for-profit sector.
- Skills: Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, experience with creating financial statements and general financial reporting, excellent accounting software user administration skills.
