Magpie Security Ltd is seeking a reliable Security Officer to work on a building site in Melton Mowbray. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the site entrance, liaising with staff, deliveries, and visitors, and responding to alarm activations.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driving licence, previous experience as a Security Officer, and be comfortable working 12.5 hour shifts. Full training will be provided.

The successful candidate must have a valid CSCS Card and Frontline SIA Licence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the site entrance and liaising with staff, deliveries, and visitors.
  • Locking down the site when staff have left for the day.
  • Responding to alarm activations around the site.
  • Reporting any issues to your supervisor.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork.

Candidates will need a checkable work history for the previous five years, and must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected Hours: No less than 49 per week

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
