Key Responsibilities



  • Manage financial control, group financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, external auditors, and accounting operations teams to support timely decision-making and ensure the accuracy of external reporting.

  • Develop and deliver financial accounting activity, including debt, interest, derivatives, and share-based compensation, as well as prepare comprehensive financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other statutory requirements.

  • Manage, develop, and mentor a team of qualified accountants, taking ownership of processes and collaborating with the business to understand changes and strategy.

  • Review and present divisional reporting packs for internal stakeholders, meeting required deadlines, and providing ad-hoc reporting as needed, while improving internal efficiencies and output quality through process enhancements and collaboration with internal and external teams.



Requirements



  • Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, or similar, with a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) and considerable post-qualification experience.

  • Fluency in additional European languages, including French, German, or Dutch.

  • Team leadership experience with Finance Managers and/or qualified accountants.

  • Experience working within large complex corporate structures, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering to deadlines.

  • Strong Excel and financial systems skills (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The willingness to occasionally travel overseas to build relationships with colleagues in various OpCo brands.
