Job Title: Team Manager for Kinship Care

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Team Manager to join our Kinship Team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in Wandsworth and will be responsible for managing a team of social workers.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Manager to lead our Kinship Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in children's social care, with experience in managing teams and delivering high-quality social work provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of social workers, including recruitment, retention, induction, training, and development.
  • Ensure the delivery and performance of the team, prioritizing and actioning casework to meet the needs of children and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships, promoting collaboration and a supportive team culture.
  • Provide expert professional advice and support, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Represent the local authority and present case work evidence at court as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience of management within children's social care services.
  • Knowledge and interest in Special Guardianship and connected persons.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
