Safety and Technical Lead Position

National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) is seeking an experienced professional to lead the technical and safety functions, enhancing industry standards, knowledge sharing, and member development.

This role requires strong technical expertise, with a proven track record of innovation and collaboration with industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Technical and Safety departments, aligning with NASC's objectives and values.
  • Develop and implement technical and safety standards, guidelines, and best practices for the access and scaffolding industry.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders, government bodies, and regulatory agencies to influence policy decisions and advocate for industry-wide improvements.
  • Lead content creation and support delivery of content programs, seminars, and workshops to enhance technical skills and safety awareness among NASC members.
  • Drive research and development of innovative solutions through technologies in the access and scaffolding sector.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in project management from the wider industrial and engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Previous experience in line management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management skills.

The estimated salary range for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
