Job Title: Volunteer: Writer/Journalist

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a volunteer writer/journalist. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for researching and writing engaging articles and stories for our website and social media channels.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research and interviews to gather information and insights for articles and stories.
  2. Write and edit engaging articles and stories that meet our brand's tone and style guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with our design team to develop visually appealing content.
  4. Upload content to our website and social media channels.
  5. Monitor and respond to comments and feedback on our content.

Requirements:

  1. Passion for women's economic opportunities.
  2. Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree.
  3. Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for 3 months or a college graduate with 1+ years experience in the field of Journalism.
  4. Excellent command of the English language.
  5. Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines.
  6. Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities.
  8. Integrity, honesty, openness, and a willingness to operate as a team player.
  9. Must have solid understanding of interview skills.
  10. Must consistently exhibit sharp design skills.
  11. Must be highly experienced in editing & copy writing.
