The Role:

We're seeking a talented Node.js Developer for a 6-month contract to contribute to a high-impact project within the music tech industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Node.js, AWS, and React. You'll play a pivotal role in building and enhancing the core systems that support the platform, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and ready to handle the demands of a global user base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
  • Design and implement APIs and integrate with front-end components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Node.js Developer (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, asynchronous programming, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
