The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric Bladder and Bowel Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Paediatric Bladder and Bowel Care Team, you will play a vital role in providing education and training to Early Years settings to promote healthy bladders and bowels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training and education to Early Years settings on continence support and toilet training for children with additional needs.
  • Develop and implement structured toileting programmes for individual children known to the Paediatric Bladder and Bowel Care Service.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to provide support and advice on toilet training.
  • Collaborate with the Specialist Paediatric Bladder and Bowel Care Nurse to ensure seamless support for children and families.

Requirements

  • Experience in paediatric continence care and education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of child development and continence issues.
