Senior Supply Chain Manager, Amazon Transportation Services

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead our EU Operations for the newest Amazon Inbound Transportation program. As a key member of our global business, you will play a central role in keeping our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement supply chain and operating models to optimize our vendor experience and business efficiency.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Support the planning and organization of complex projects, shaping the operational strategy for our Inbound Transportation program.
- Collaborate with the Program and Development teams to drive business initiatives, making project decisions and achieving tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus.
A Day in the Life
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with various teams to navigate challenges and drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. You will spend time resolving temporary issues, forecasting, and planning for new projects, ensuring a proactive and reactive approach.
About the Team
Amazon's Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is a diverse and dynamic group that plays a central role in our success. As part of ATS, you will be welcomed into a team that captures data and uses it to drive decisions.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Relevant experience in analyzing data and creating reports for leadership.
- Relevant experience in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- Relevant experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
- Experience working with large cross-functional teams.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose root cause issues.
