As Sous Chef, you'll be the Head Chef's right-hand person, leading and engaging the kitchen team to deliver excellent food and service every time. You'll be responsible for leading shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and safely, and upholding our high standards. You'll be on it, just like we are.

What We're Looking For

  • You're probably an existing Sous Chef, or perhaps a Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager looking to take the next step in your career.
  • You have experience of working with fresh ingredients and can demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices).
  • You're a team player who rolls up their sleeves and gets stuck in, leading from the front and delivering excellent kitchen and food standards.
  • You're driven and relentless in your pursuit of excellence, with a strong knowledge of KPIs and the ability to make decisions in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • You have epic communication skills and can manage stakeholders and build rapport and trust with our Ops Chefs and Ops Managers.
  • You have a strong knowledge of best practice around rota scheduling, sales and labour forecasts, reporting, recruitment, HR etc.
  • You've demonstrated successful delivery of training and recruitment for kitchen teams, including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs and Sous Chefs.
