Job Title: Kitchen Fitter

At Hi Tech Design and Build Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and experienced kitchen fitter to join our team. As a kitchen fitter, you will be responsible for installing and fitting kitchens to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and mark out work areas according to plans and specifications.
  • Remove and dispose of old units, appliances, and decor, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Investigate the position of hidden pipes and cables, taking necessary precautions to avoid damage or disruption.
  • Measure and cut worktops to exact specifications, using a range of hand and power tools.
  • Build and install base units, wall units, and cupboards, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Fitting cornices, pelmets, plinths, and worktops, using a range of materials and techniques.
  • Cut out spaces for sinks, cookers, and hobs, ensuring a precise and accurate fit.
  • Use a range of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Tiling walls and laying flooring, using a range of materials and techniques.
  • Follow strict health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Work in clients' homes or businesses, providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in kitchen fitting or a related field.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound judgment and a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to follow technical plans and specifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
