IT Infrastructure Specialist

The IT Support Analyst will report directly to the Group Head of IT and provide IT desktop support to all staff in a timely manner using the company helpdesk system. Responsibilities include using IT systems to manage hardware assets and software licenses, producing reports from these systems, and maintaining a good working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, specifically GPO's, user & computer management, securities, and DHCP/DNS.

This role requires a wide range of IT systems and solutions to be used, which will be expected to be supported. The ability to work remotely using VPN and other software tools is also necessary. Additionally, the candidate should be able to configure and deploy IT assets in line with company policies and configurations, as well as manage and develop the network infrastructure.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a full driving license to occasionally travel to different sites within the MacTaggart Scott group of Companies. The IT Skills required include Microsoft desktop operating systems, network infrastructure configuration, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, Enterprise AV system support, and Enterprise encryption support.
