About Adele Carr Recruitment

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant Assistant to join our team at a large multinational business within the industry. Based in North Wales, this role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will report to the Finance Director and be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation of payroll for external payroll providers
  • Managing fixed assets and maintaining accurate records
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of software packages used to enable flexible covering of various roles
  • Supporting site stock counts and ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Assisting with VAT returns and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
  • Providing support to the purchase and sales ledger team as needed
  • Preparing monthly reports and constructing reports as required using multiple software packages

Requirements

  • Studying towards either CIMA or ACCA qualification and having experience in a similar role in a fast-paced office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Navision is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
