Job Description

The Building Maintenance Specialist will be the primary point of contact for site-based staff at customer premises, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This role involves completing maintenance tasks and minor repairs to building fabric and services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Customer Liaison: Manage day-to-day interactions with site-based staff, ensuring understanding of task status, identifying problems, and opportunities for further work.
  • Reactive Response: Provide the first point of response for reactive calls, acting as a liaison for other resources to be used in the situation.
  • On-Site Resource: Work on-site where premises are of sufficient scale, attending other sites as determined by operational activities.
  • Routine PPMs: Undertake routine ppm tasks within engineers' competency and workload.
  • Asset Verification: Ensure asset listings are up-to-date, aligned with service level matrices, and identify inconsistencies or changes for reporting to the Service Delivery Centre.
  • Logbooks: Maintain accurate and completed logbooks for site providers under client control.
  • Dilapidation Reports: Identify additional works and plant condition for purposes of asset management.
  • Lifecycle Management: Be aware of asset condition on-site and agreed approaches to maintenance.
Estimate Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum based on experience and location.
